"Not My Job" Moments of Professional Entropy


It might be your job to paint lines on a road. But nowhere in your job description does it say you need to move any cars, forklifts, rocks or extension cords. Sure, some of those responsibilities might be assumed, but the cunning worker knows that doing anything other than the loosest interpretation of their exact job description is the way to get things done without unnecessary perspiration. These "not my job" moments of professional apathy are a thing of beauty.
