Man Makes Bread From 4,500 Year Old Yeast Sample

An amateur gastroegyptologist by the name of Seamus Blackley stumbled upon what he definitely hopes are isolated strains of yeast that came off 4,500 year old Egyptian pots. Naturally, he figured that it'd be cool to make some bread out of it. Seems like a pretty awesome use of one's time. Apparently the aroma that came from the bread was otherworldly as well.
