One of the worst things to find yourself dealing with when you're just trying to smoothly navigate your day's tasks is to have a boss who insists on a managerial approach that's rooted in micromanagement. Micromanagement is the worst. It usually seems to stem from some maddening urge for the person to control all the things at once. Well, simply put, this isn't the most efficient way to get things done. It sounds like this employee was more than ready to unleash a tactical petty revenge though.
