Sometimes we think to ourselves "man, I wish my tv remote were easier to find" and the low budget DIY solution we land on is "let's glue the remote to a bigass piece of wood." And to be honest, it's an effective DIY engineering solution. If "effective" can be described as "solves the initial problem but creates ten more."
