We all have that one person in our lives (or it's you) that is hopelessly addicted to the realm of romance novels. Romance novels provide a warm and bubbly escape from the unforgiving chaotic bubble of reality that one must otherwise muddle through. Unfortunately, all of those romance novel musings can end up creating quite the unrealistic series of expectations about how the real world works. While we're on the subject of romance novels, man oh man, Hallmark movies are right up there with perpetuating their own collection of shamelessly unhinged ideals about how love, romance, etc. ends up looking in real life.
