There are times when all we can do is look around at the potential tree-chopping catastrophe we've just avoided and think to ourselves, "yeah I meant to do that." If not to save face after making a risky decision, but to just help us sleep at night. This guy could've had a far worse day than he did, but it just so happens he's good at balancing.
