It really doesn't sound like this woman's boyfriend was trying to flaunt his wealth when he went to meet her parents. If anything, he was just wearing that (obscenely) pricey watch purely out of habit. Well, that didn't stop her dad from having a bit of a meltdown over the wardrobe choice. The moral judges of Reddit's AITA seem to be in agreement that the boyfriend wasn't in the wrong for his decision to sport the expensive watch.
