It sounds like a particularly testy coworker is blowing their 2 week old surgery far out of proportion, to milk another free and gracious handout. In this case, they are appalled beyond belief, when their coworker won't hook 'em up with some chicken bites. Not the chicken bites! They learn a quick lesson in how being rude to someone, does NOT make them want to help you. Wow.
