On the one hand, you can't live with your coworkers. On the other hand, you genuinely can't live (or rather, work) without them. What can you do, it's a double-edged sword. You've got your office Karen who actually does her job, then you've got the office Karen who does, in fact, do her job (although grudgingly), and then you've got all the Karens in between. Whether you're working in customer service, in construction, or in a corporate office, you're going to have to deal with people you don't like.
Working remotely isn't always an option, but if it were, would you take the opportunity? At least then, you wouldn't have to engage in the tiresome small talk you feel is being forced down your throat every time you enter a shared space to make yourself a coffee. I don't know about you, but I genuinely couldn't care less about seeing pictures of my colleague's kids. But hey, we do what we gotta do.
