Employees are forced to work overtime as prices soar, thanks to the decrease in the purchasing power of money. In other words, inflation is influenced by various factors, including supply and demand dynamics, government policies, and global economic conditions. We're going down a slippery road, barely being able to keep up with the tide… so we do what we have to. The cost of living is kind of ridiculous; from coffee to groceries to a pint of beer at a pub.
In addition to our wages that are crawling at a snail's pace, our working conditions are also not exactly stable, and management is a tough crowd to please. Big corporations are running us into the ground, and we're letting them.
