'Screw your HOA': Anarchist teens outsmart their neighborhood's contemptuous rules, mocking them by maliciously complying to their technicalities

HOA stands for "Horribly Obnoxious Association" and they're the group of prying Karen's and Kevin's that make up the most outrageous rules for the neighborhood, simply to lord themselves over everybody, bolstering their superiority complex. Not every HOA is terrible, but for some suburban neighborhoods, they're the gestapo waiting for inhabitants to make simple mistakes so that they can send them warnings and fines and petty paperwork to file. 

One high schooler fell victim to a classic HOA witch hunt and turned the tables on them completely in the only way a high schooler knows how: tomfoolery and mockery. 

He had just driven his beater old car to a friend's house to hang out. Having just learned how to check his oil levels and feeling quite proud of it, the teenager popped the hood to show his friend how it's done. Little did they know, a spy for the HOA snapped a photo of them and reported it. The next day, the friend's mom received a note with a fine attached to it (including the photo) claiming that they had broken HOA rules by doing car repairs in the driveway. 

Cue the anarchy. 

The two teens and the mom came up with a plan to hoax the HOA. The boys set up several photoshoots of themselves every day, bringing their friends over to pop the hoods of their cars and simply look into the engine cavity. They were sure to have the entire area clear of tools and they were certain not to touch anything under the hood so that their plan could work flawlessly. The teens took their shirts off and kissed their beloved cars, because that was technically not a 'repair', right? Plus, they're teenaged boys, they had to take the mockery to a level 100. 

Sure enough, the fines and the photos started rolling in. 

At the next HOA meeting, the boys and the mom attended, bringing large photos of their engine boudoir photos, claiming that they were just taking pictures for a class. They pointed out to the board that they were technically not doing any repairs whatsoever, so per the laws of the HOA, they hadn't broken any rules. 

Reluctantly, the board convened and dismissed all of the fines, only to find the boys continuing their s3xy car photoshoots long after the final board meeting– just to piss everybody off and rub their victory in their faces.
