There's nothing like a competitive yoga class to bring the Karens out! As someone who is not well-acquainted with the world of getting spots in competitive fitness classes, I was truly shocked by this lady's behavior in the elevator. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/hansolox1, who was running a little late to class and found herself in the elevator with Yoga Karen.
Apparently, this studio has a policy that if you don't check in 5 minutes before class, your seat is then up for grabs and you are considered a "no-show." So what did Yoga Karen do? Well, since she didn't have a reservation herself, she purposely stalled the Redditor by pressing the wrong buttons "accidentally" so that the Redditor would miss the 5-minute check-in deadline. Once the elevator arrived at the correct floor, Yoga Karen sprinted to the front desk and grabbed the now-free spot. This is truly diabolical behavior that deserves to be reprimanded.
