'In comes this entitled man': Grown man gets confronted by teenage employee for smoking in a non-smoking restaurant


Either this guy refuses to read the signs or he's a jerk. Those are the only two options! 

 

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/SeveralMarionberry42, who shared that many years ago, she was working in a fast-food restaurant and was forced to confront an entitled male customer about their "no smoking" rule. Stomaching the courage to confront someone way older than you to enforce a rule is hard enough. The fact that this guy continued to refuse to follow the rules and kept smoking anyway says quite a bit about his level of entitlement, his inability to follow the rules, and his condescension (probably as a result of the age dynamic). For me, this is not about the smoking. It's about this guy's refusal to take the Redditor seriously and his active choice to give her a hard time.
