The internet does not have the most truthful reputation. Anyone can post anything and there'll always be someone who believes it. In fact, lying has become an actual day job, where you can get paid… unquestionably well. TikTok is known for people sharing 'wild' stories that happened to them, that frankly, probably didn't happen. Who's gonna do a background check? Where would you even begin to try to verify the source or level of truth? While scouring Reddit, we happened upon r/ThatHappened, where people share the most ridiculous crap that people are alleging happened.
Eyebrows were RAISED. Firstly, how do people come up with this stuff? Secondly, from where do they have the audacity to post it? Thirdly, we'd like to pick the part of their brain says 'Yep, this is believable. People are gonna go nuts'. Well, as usual, all we can say is that it does make good content.
