Bosses are always a pain when you're late, but when they're late, it's totally fine! That's obviously a belief that this entitled Karen boss subscribes to, given that when she was over half an hour late to work the day after Christmas, she refused to pay her employee who had been waiting outside in their car since the office was locked.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/Raenoke, and as frustrating as this story is, it's certainly not surprising. We all know that as soon as the Holidays are over, horrible bosses remove their fake smiles from their horrible faces and go back to being, well, horrible. There's an extra level of irony going on here, given that the place of work in this instance is a law firm, and what this boss is attempting to do is certifiably illegal. We'll see what happens!
