Getting caught cheating certainly has consequences, but I hadn't heard of these ones before. That's right: this guy was cheating on his girlfriend - who he was hoping to marry - with a coworker before his friend (also a coworker) told the truth, and now the cheater may have to leave the country because of it.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit by u/Appropriate_Nose_455, who may be feeling a bit guilty after ratting out this guy. However, it seems like the Redditor wasn't fully aware of his immigration status, and if that status was as heavily reliant on this future marriage as the post suggests, then this guy had more reasons not to cheat than the average cheater. And yet…he did it anyway. Oh well. It's not like this country has a shortage of cheaters anyway.
