The Best New Memes, Tweets, and Hot Takes About Toxic Workplaces

Some will make you laugh, others will make you think, and all will make you question why we work like this. Or perhaps why we work. Period. Full stop. These memes, tweets, and hot takes were compiled from Reddit's r/antiwork and r/me_irl subreddits.

It's good to question why things are the way they are, even if it's just for humor or a punchline. Without those observations, we'll never be able to, I don't know, effectively change our collective approach to that thing called work. Some of these, such as the tweet about being a tech bro vs. being a medical assistant, are infuriating. Others, like the Halloween costume memes satirizing horrible bosses and even more horrible hiring managers, will never get old to me. Keep scrolling below and share your thoughts! For more work anecdotes, check out this post about an annoying coworker who decided to get on her high horse and boss everyone around her.
