'Everyone clapped for her, except for me': Older sister humiliates younger sibling in front of entire singing class

This story makes an argument for why siblings should never take a class together. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by the older sibling, who cannot help but show her mean side even when she tries to portray herself in a good light.

These two sisters chose to take a voice class together (first mistake), and the Redditor refused to acknowledge that they were related (second mistake). By the time her younger sister sang in front of the whole class, she was nervous and made a few mistakes. It should be acknowledged that the younger sister was only 15, the Redditor was 19, and most of their classmates were in their twenties. When the performance was over, everyone clapped except for the original poster, who proceeded to make savage critiques in front of everyone. Criticism is surely necessary for any singer to grow, but this older sibling clearly had no intention of being helpful. The fact that she's still wondering if she's the A-hole in this situation says a lot about her self-awareness. It doesn't sound like she's even apologized yet. Word of advice: don't take a performance-based class with your sibling. It only leads to this.
