"I am the exception" is the core thinking of any good entitled person's philosophy. For some reason, they think of themselves as above the din despite possessing no qualities to make them so. Of course, since they're above everyone else, the rules that others have to follow just don't apply to them.
This Karen followed that exact line of thinking when she decided that that whole "no children allowed" rule didn't apply to her and hers. She decided to bring them into a live audio recording at the local church that had specifically banned their attendance. When she was told that the kids weren't allowed in she hilariously threatened to leave… which the staff were more than happy for her to do.
