Picture yourself reading something online. It doesn't make any factual sense. In fact, it seems like whoever posted it seems to be making some kind of extreme logical leap. And for some reason, everyone is responding to it positively with laughter. Any decent detective might assume that what they've stumbled upon is what many would refer to as a joke. But you don't see it that way. What you see is someone making an assertion. An incorrect, illogical assertion that a priest and a rabbi have walked into a bar, and the bartender is a horse. This is simply impossible. There's just no reasonable explanation for this set of circumstances. And you need to tell all of the people enjoying this lie that in fact their feelings are wrong.
Here are a folks who really wanted to let people know that their jokes were wrong. And for even more, here are oblivious people who missed the joke.
