Employee Exacts Revenge, Becomes Ultra-Efficient to Raise KPI Averages After Boss Changes His Schedule, No One Gets a Raise

This employee had his private life turned on its head when his new supervisor decided to change his schedule so that he had to come in an hour later (and therefore leave an hour later.) This impeded the arrangement that he had with their wife for childcare. When approached about this issue, the supervisor remarked, "That's what babysitters are for."

This thread was posted to r/MaliciousCompliance by Reddit user u/PickleLips64151. He posted the thread titled, "Supervisor wouldn't let me come in one hour early, so I worked hard enough that she and the entire sector didn't get raises that year. Which meant they were 5% behind peers for salary for the rest of their careers." which tells the story of dastardly malicious compliance that they pulled on a "slug" supervisor that left the supervisor earning "between $5k-$8k less than her peers for the rest of her career."

This savage tale definitely strays into the realm of "petty" or "pro" revenge since the result has devastating real-world consequences for the targets—Bravo to u/PickleLips64151 for this brutal story.
