There's irresponsible... and then there's this mother. Just from this little insightful window into her life it is probably safe to say that she shouldn't be entrusted with children. This baby sitter definitely did the right thing in contacting the police and leaving the children in their care. There is a certain point where the obligations she agreed to have been exceeded and it sounds like this mother was consistently willing to push past them.
