It sounds like this woman had her hands full with dealing with an insane amount of entitlement from her fiancé's mother. Basically, the mom clearly wasn't interested in taking advantage of her family's good graces and financial support anytime soon. So, she decided to go ahead and withdraw her support. You might be able to imagine who the moral judges of Reddit's AITA community found themselves siding with.
