We only have a limited time on this earth, and while we don't get to choose a lot of things about our own circumstances, we usually have some amount of power over who we get to spend our time with. Specifically, it's a good idea to know when you're talking to a laughably entitled person who doesn't see other people as equals, or is so self absorbed they just see social situations as opportunities to see how miserable they can end up being.
