There are a whole lot of career paths that one can wander down with the highest of hopes, purest of intentions, only to realize that they're surrounded by people that seemingly have no idea what they're doing. To say that this kind of work environment can grow terribly tiresome and weigh on the soul after a while would be an understatement. Hopefully you've never had any experiences like those that the people are talking about in this thread.
