Chef Modifies Dish To Account For Food Allergy, Customer Gets Mad Over Confusion


Those brunch and lunch and dinner rushes can get extremely busy out of nowhere. As a server, one moment you might find yourself trying to waste away the time left on your shift by folding a mountain of forks, spoons, and knives into beds of napkins, and the next moment you might find a literal tidal wave of hungry and impatient customers stampeding through the restaurant's door. It can pay off if you're already naturally inclined to keep cool under pressure, because it's only a matter of time before someone stages a full on temper tantrum in a restaurant. In this case though, it sounds like the chef was really just trying to make the correct moves based off the information they had. The ball kind of falls back in the server's court for failing to tell the chef exactly who needed the modified dish.
