From running up the tab to being a belly button freak, people find themselves dating some people they wished they'd never met. When you get to the restaurant and realize the person looks like the Dr. Jekyll version of themselves from their profile pic, then they start rattling off statistics about war criminals without so much as a how-do-you-do, it might be one of those first dates where people said "screw this I'm out."
