Weddings have an uncanny knack for inspiring people near and far to act out the worst versions of themselves. It's probably attributable to the fact that you have various folks being brought together that never should've been in the same room to begin with. You've also got various people getting caught up in the hopeless chase of ensuring that everything is literally perfect. Such an unattainable goal will only result in a meltdown. This bridezilla sounds like she's been all kinds of toxic and unreasonable. Seems like the bridesmaid's decision to not attend the wedding is entirely understandable.
