A recent Twitter thread inspired people to share those times of failure when they followed instructions literally, and then failures resulted. Communication can be a tricky thing. Just cause you're asking someone to do something in a way that makes sense to you, doesn't mean that the recipient of the instructions won't interpret your intention completely differently. And from there, we have a wonderful collection of fails.
