Sailors see some haunting sights while out at sea. There's a whole lot of unexplored space out in those oceans, and mysterious creatures that look like they swam right out of a fever dream can present themselves at spontaneous times, to sailors. The thought of being out in the middle of nowhere on a big body of pitch black water, and suddenly seeing some unexplainable phenomenon that looks like a monster from the underworld itself, is enough to send chills down the spine. Nope. I'm good.
