Satire can go over people's heads. Some folks seem to have a really hard time figuring out the difference between real news and obvious, absurd joke news. Sometimes it's funny when someone is ignorant enough to believe millions of people died on Black Friday, but when people refuse to see the jokes or think that it was made to deceive them, it's gets into the territory of "kind of upsetting."
