This guy was getting exasperated with the customer service at a restaurant, and after having enough of what he took as a "surfer attitude" from his waiter, he decided to return what he thought was a hang loose sign. This is where the fail presents itself in all of its terrible glory. Turns out the waiter in fact didn't have any fingers, and was absolutely not flashing a "hang loose sign." How about that for a big old-fashioned whoops.
