If you just keep doing something you learned in childhood without any self reflection, you might end up doing some stupid things for way too far into your adult life. Sometimes song lyrics or figures of speech don't make sense until you see them in writing. People are often wrong, even about their own health, but what sucks is when you're publicly, idiotically wrong for waaaaay too long.
