Hindsight is 20/20 when it comes to being an awkward teenager or young 20 something. Sometimes it's only years down the road after encounters with the opposite sex that we realize that there might have been something between the lines that, in all of our youthful wisdom, we totally failed to pick up on.
These are the tales of some poor souls who missed their shot through sheer awkward ignorance.
