This Website Will Show You What It's Like to Have Dyslexia

dyslexia gifs website This Website Will Show You What It's Like to Have Dyslexia

After some inspiration from a friend with dyslexia,Victor Widell, decided to make a website that could show what it feels like. This is just a page on his blog which he has programmed to constantly switch the letters of words around as in the GIF above. According to CNN, this is not the only way dyslexia presents itself but seeing words move or letters rotate is very common.  If you're having trouble reading the words in the GIF, this is what it says:

A friend who has dyslexia described to me how she experiences reading. She can read, but it takes a lot of concentration, and the letters seem to 'jump around'.

I remembered reading about typoglycemia. Wouldn't it be possible to do it interactively on a website with JavaScript? Sure it would.
