Don't believe whatever else you're seeing on the internet right now. This is not an April Fools prank gone wrong, nor is that a student on the ground here. It turns out the poor victim of nut-smashing is actually a fellow teacher who volunteered for the act. Even better, he took it like a champ and shrugged off the whole thing when it was all over:
