Being on dating apps can either be really fun, or extremely cringy. Many people find genuine connections on them, but man people basically use Tinder as if it was a regular game on their phone. We're probably all guilty of opening the app solely for entertainment from time to time out of boredom. We can't help it, we've gotten way too comfortable with casually swiping. Is it sad? Who's to say?
There's also something to be said about these painfully terrible profiles. Is the goal really to have an impeccable profile? Isn't it kind of off-putting if someone's pictures are a little too perfect, and their prompts are a little too thought out? Then again, we're sure the person that they're meant to be with will appreciate the extra effort they put into all of that.
