If that's you, don't worry. Instead of finding helpful tips and tricks to combat those feelings, we're going to lean into them even further with these humorous memes, courtesy of @mantysaippua via Imgur. There's something to be said for being well aware of your problems and then not doing anything about them, right? Just kidding. The power of relatable commiseration, am I right?

20 Idiots Who Completely Missed the Joke and Failed to Behave Rationally

We've all been there—looking around the room, watching everyone else laugh, wondering what on earth we just missed. Even though we've all experienced this, how we deal with this situation differentiates us. Some might choose to laugh with the rest of the crowd to fit in, others might instead maintain their confused silence, and others still will belligerently verbally accost the speaker in order to protect their stupid ego from the idea that they just don't understand something.

This list is brimming with the third category of person; people who spend their life railing against the world to maintain their own bleeding ignorance. Sure, not all of us were born with a brilliant sense of humor—just like not all of us were blessed with the curse of self-awareness. Still, even if you're lacking in both, you're hopefully not also overflowing (like Aristotle in a bathtub) with ignorance. These third-category persons are utterly devoid of the primary and secondary traits—but have no lack of the tertiary.

Keep reading for this resplendent cornucopia of persons who wouldn't know a joke if it smacked them in the back of the head.

'The neighbor came out screaming at me': Insane neighbor insists guy pays children's medical bills after kids play in his driveway despite repeated warnings

When "Get off my lawn!" is a rational request—rather than a disgruntled outcry from an aging croquet enthusiast.

A neighborhood parent took out their anger on this homeowner after the neighbor's child hurt themselves while riding their bike in the owner's driveway, ignoring the fact that the owner had repeatedly requested that the children stay off his property altogether.

It all started when, shortly after purchasing their new home, this couple politely introduced themselves to the neighbor children, who were playing on their property, and their parents. They requested that the parents keep their children off the property going forward but were met with the argument that the previous owners had "always" allowed the kids to play there. The parents were completely blinded by their entitlement and appeared to be deaf to the fact that the new owners were not the same persons that had lived there previously.

This became a recurring theme; the owners would request that the parents keep their children off their property, and the parents would insist that the children had "always" been allowed to play there. The children continued to play, and the owners escalated with written requests—a move they'd celebrate shortly.

Laughing turned to screams one Sunday when one of the children rode "straight into" the owner's truck. The parents blamed the owners—to the owner's bewilderment. Things escalated when the neighbors insisted that the owners were responsible for the child's medical bills. Now, the owner is wondering if he is in the wrong for refusing to pay.

It seems like an open-and-shut case to us, but what's your read?

Employee Asks Cringy Questions to Coworker About His Famous Daughter

Some people just have zero filter and are thus completely unable to mind their own business. This employee should be added to that category of individuals. They shared their story via this thread on Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, and let's just say that the ruthless judges of the AITA community were less than kind.

This employee clearly stalks their coworker's semi-famous daughter on Instagram and had already drawn several conclusions about his relationship with her. When they couldn't help but ask about it, the coworker understandably did not take it well, and the employee wound up hearing from their boss about their unfair and invasive snooping. Here's the thing: everyone loves to gossip, whether or not you admit it. But you gossip about something like this outside of the office and in your private life. Never bring up a delicate situation like that to the person's face. If they want to talk about it, they will. Otherwise, mind your own d*mn business. If you're going to gossip, you have to at least be smart about it.

'Show a little more dedication': Bewildering viral email asks workers to eat their lunch at their desk in case CEO drops by unannounced

Nothing says dedication to your job like timidly eating lunch at your desk, nervously checking the door every few minutes to see if today is the day your overlords have decided to grace you with their presence.

Let's be real here—it sounds like this manager is a little bit out of their depth. They're the kind of person who only ended up in a position of authority because they knew precisely which (two) cheek(s) to kiss—knowledge they applied regularly and with vigor. This email is a testament to the existence of a living, walking, and breathing Peter principle—who perhaps shouldn't be trusted with authority over others.

In the email, they express embarrassment at the situation despite no reaction from the CEO that would have warranted this email's authorship. The CEO probably left embarrassed with himself for choosing that time to arrive. Damnit Donald, you've done it again; you've got to stop dropping into the branches when everyone's out to lunch.

Screenshots of the email ended up on Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, posted there by Reddit user u/Flaky_Box_7482, one of the workers who received it. Readers lampooned the author of the email in the comments expressing their concern and outrage at the requests being made.

Funniest Memes About Halloween Couple Costume Fails That Are So Bad They’re Actually Good

Sometimes couple costumes really hit for Halloween, if both people are creative and not afraid to look silly they can accomplish some pretty stellar luxe. But you need to go fill it out, we cannot capitalize on that enough. And we will cancel you if we see that this year. Just kidding, of course, Halloween is a holiday for everyone to do exactly what they want, there shouldn't be any rules and standards, but it's just more fun if you really really go for it. If you've never tried it before, you might as well give it a shot. So what are you and your boyfriend or girlfriend I try to do something together or separate or just want to look at some terrible costumes, we got you. Let's look at these terrible costume fails.
