Fresh Job Jokes For Your Beginning of the Work Week Woes

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new dreary work week.

That's right. If you have the luxury of a long weekend (some of us do not), good for you. But if you're like the rest of us, it's just another magic Monday, minus the magical part. These work memes and tweets were sourced from @humorous_resources, @corporate_millennial_memes, and @nastonius. If you have to go into the office today and you're still trying to figure out why we only get a two-day weekend in this corporate culture we're living in, please know that your angsty, antiwork sentiments are welcome here. Who knows? Maybe the self-deprecating, "you gotta laugh at it" way of thinking will make your start to the work week ever so slightly more bearable. Or at least, ever so slightly more amusing.

'Cashier instantly starts yelling at me': Crazy cashier curses out customer, caller her a 'Karen' after messing up her order

We often talk about Karens unleashing their wrath upon underserving workers who are just trying to make rent this month, but what happens when that shoe is on the other foot? What about the stories where the customer is just trying to make a reasonable request and gets verbally body-slammed by the employee?

It's always important to remember that both can happen and that there are two sides to every story; The truth is (usually) wedged somewhere in between.

If we'd seen the cashier telling this story online, we'd probably be reading some posts about how a Karen came at them, complaining about her pizza, making a scene, and refusing to leave. But, from this version of the story, it's pretty clear that the cashier was in the wrong for flying off the handle -no matter what had been said previously. It's hard to imagine talking to anyone like that, customer or not. I can see where it might be a catch-22 for the cashier if they were unable to refund the money (and would get in trouble if they did), but that still doesn't excuse their reaction.

Read on to see this story as originally posted to Reddit's r/TalesFromTheCustomer subreddit.

For some people actually being Karens, check out this mother who decided that her children were the exception and tried to bring them to a "no children allowed" audio recording.

20 Entitled 'Karens' Imposing Their Stupid Wrath Upon the World

There's no shortage of 'Karens out there in the world today. It seems like everywhere you turn, anywhere you go, or every time you boot up a social app, there's some older woman with cropped hair giving some poor random person or employee the "What-For."

Why is this happening? Has it always been like this? Have Karens always been out there in the world, and smartphones have finally just exposed them? Or is there really just an increasing number of entitled a-holes out there?

I don't think there's one singular answer here, and it's likely a combination of all of these. But, whatever the reason, we've gathered here a collection of wild Karens imposing their stupid wrath upon the world for your eyes to absorb.

Most Delusional People this Week on Craigslist : Ask For Deliriously Funny Amounts of Money for Old, Weird or Crazy Items

Reddit is getting too confident in its ability to suck you into its deepest, darkest rabbit holes of information (similar to a vortex) and we are here for it. If you haven't visited the subreddit 'r/delusionalcraigslist' yet, boy are you in for a ride… It's no secret that people can be batshit crazy, and Craigslist has earned its questionable reputation by becoming a feeding platform for the deranged and neurotic - but it is also incredibly useful for those searching for items at a good price, as well as for those who are looking to sell items at said good prices. What can you do, the crazies infiltrate everything at the end of the day, and Craigslist is no exception. The platform has some wicked funny people on there, and we're blessed enough that some folk upload the most hilarious things they encounter on there to Reddit. Without further ado, you are welcome to scroll down and guffaw at some of the best.
