WTF of the Day: Kids Climb Into Car Trunk at CiCi’s Pizza

That looks safe.

A family in Florida was caught on camera putting their kids in a car trunk last week at a parking lot outside CiCi’s Pizza.

One of the customers in the restaurant captured the whole thing on video, in which you can see them children climb in like a can of sardines and lay down next to each other on their backs.

“We’re about to get shot,” says the woman filming, as she laughs at the scene.

According to witnesses, a few of the adults in the group went back into the pizza restaurant to threaten the woman.

The customers said they were too scared so no one called the police, and the Department of Children and Families has since launched an investigation.

The group also told CBS that it’s better to call authorities about an incident like this rather than shooting video and posting it to YouTube.

Don't believe whatever else you're seeing on the internet right now. This is not an April Fools prank gone wrong, nor is that a student on the ground here. It turns out the poor victim of nut-smashing is actually a fellow teacher who volunteered for the act. Even better, he took it like a champ and shrugged off the whole thing when it was all over:

Fail of the Day: Man in Gaza Sold an Original Banksy for Just $175

funny-news-fail-banksy-sold

Back in February, world-famous street artist Banksy posted several new pieces in Gaza, including a giant kitten, to try to draw some attention to the region.

His public work tends to be snatched up pretty quickly by people looking to make some serious cash. They can typically be sold to collectors for hundreds of thousands of dollars. His “Mobile Lovers” piece went for more than half a million dollars last year.

One man in Gaza probably wishes he had been told that before he let an original Banksy go for a measly $175.

Rabie Dardouna, who owned the door and rubble which Banksy adorned with a piece called “Bomb Damage” (above), pawned it off to a man named Belal Khaled for just the value of the metal. His house was destroyed during an Israeli attack last year.

“I did not know that it was this valuable. I heard it can be sold for millions,” Dardouna told The Guardian. “Now I want the door back.”

Khaled claims he only purchased the door to “protect its artistic value” and isn’t looking to make money off the deal.

He added that he might one day consider displaying it in a gallery to “speak about the suffering of Gaza and the agonies of war.”

Parenting of the Day: Dad Pulls Son’s Tooth Out With a Chevy Camaro

Well that’s certainly one way to do it.

Professional wrestler Rob Venomous came up with an interesting, albeit slightly dangerous, method of pulling out his 8-year-old son’s loose tooth.

He tied one end of a string to his tooth and connected the other end to the back of his Chevrolet Camaro.

It’s basically like using a doorknob but with a lot more power and risk of serious injury.

Fortunately for the kid, everything went according to plan, and he was’t dragged down the street screaming in pain.
