These musicians have taken their craft to the next level. These instruments are custom made to be large, twisty, or otherwise weird-looking. It's not every day that you get to see a guitar with dozens of strings, or a drum so big you need to stand on a ladder to play it properly.
Why do people make these quirky instruments? You'd have to ask them yourself, but presumably they like to push the bounds of what's been created already, as well as produce some completely unique sounds from their newly formed instrument. I'm a big fan of instruments that just look kind of silly as well, like the performer holding a gigantic triangular guitar. The sky's the limit with these things, whether their creators are joining two instruments together or just pushing the limits of how many strings one guitar can hold.
After you check out these quirky instruments, check out this boss, who reminded their employee that they aren't an office manager. So that employee shrugged their shoulders and stopped managing the office!
