Coworker Tries to Tell Guy He's Being Rude For Not Putting His Phone Down and Engaging in Conversation During His Only Break

Maybe you should leave people alone to their personal time buddy? The introverted people of the world need that time to themselves in order to degauss from the constant interaction that our jobs often require. It really makes you realize how Squidward must have felt.

You insisting on getting all-up in your coworkers space and forcing him to engage with you during his only time to himself actually makes you the rude one. Maybe you should learn to read non-verbal cues from people and leave them alone when they're not engaging with you.

Is that such a hard concept to grasp?

If you're a regular Squidward and annoying coworkers are your thing check out this Employee's Coworker That Gets Mad That They Won't Work While On Vacation.

Irate Husband and In-laws Insist Concerned Mother Makes Her Daughter’s Birthday “Not Vegan”, She’s Doing it Because of Daughter’s Severe Allergies

Sorry you're offended by your daughter's allergies dad! Like how insecure do you have to be to be opposed to your daughter being able to eat everything at her OWN party. You obstinate old sod.

She's only celebrating her first birthday so there are going to be a few more to go. Don't worry you'll have plenty of time to get it right before she starts resenting you and your entire family in her teens. All because you were too much of a coward to be accomodating of her allergies.

At least Mom is looking out for her daughter's best interests. But I do tend to agree with commenters here... It's a shame that she has to do it but she could work on the sales pitch here. You don't need to call it vegan, just call it "egg and dairy free so my daughter doesn't die".

Then chuck some hunks of meat on the bloody barbie and you're away!

Oh, and maybe work on distancing yourself from your husband's lovely family...! Before you decide to marry someone it's always best to check what the in laws are like!

Cat Owners And Their Christmas Tree Struggles

There's a special connection between cats and Christmas trees. Or maybe it's a one way street. Some cats just want to sit at the top. Some want to crawl up that thing and hang out it in it or tip that baby over. Depending on the cat, some owners have to jump through oodles of hoops just so they don't end up with a knocked over or shredded up tree. For some heavy aftermath, here are guilty cats who were shamed for their crimes.

Husband Goes Off on Entitled Brother-In-Law When He Insults the Couple During Their Pregnancy Announcement

This lady's younger brother sounds like a piece of work. Honestly, props to her for taking here husband's side. As commenters have already noted... If the brother didn't want to be called out for acting like an ahole then he shouldn't have acted like an ahole.

There's only so much of your s* that even your family members are going to be able to put up with and when you insult your sister in front of her husband you'd better be prepared for a response.

Good old in-laws, eh?

Entitled SIL Steals Puppy Name For Baby, Asks Sis To Pick Different Name For Puppy

Before we even get started on this, we want to talk a little about people's entitlement towards names. To be clear, no one person owns a name, or has special rights to a name. Names for babies and pets are completely fair game. You have some babies with very simple names, and some doggos with very intricate and complex names, it's about about parental preference.

Keeping this in mind, OP had picked out her puppy's name long before she discovered that her SIL was pregnant. And when SIL was asked what the baby's name would be, OP discovered that her brother an SIL had chosen none other but the name that she had already chosen for her puppy. And it's not like they didn't know, OP reveals that she told her brother and SIL about her puppy's name long before there was a baby involved. Sighs, nothing like some good old fashioned family drama.

People Share The Worst Things They've Ever Had To Smell

Life is a series of ups and downs. Good things happen and bad things happen, and frankly a lot of it is forgettable. But what we never forget is a nightmarishly bad smell. The right waft of a dumpster full of medical waste can leave us with a memory carved into our psyches like a 14th century woodcut. Why is it that people keep forgetting a whole lot of meat in nonfunctioning refrigerators? Here are some more of theworst smells that people had an opportunity to experience.

Jilted Girlfriend Gets Even With Boyfriend’s Horrible Family By Ruining Their Thanksgiving When Asked to Bring the Turkey

It's a three for one! AITA, Malicious Compliance and Petty Revenge all wrapped into one sweet-juicy bundle!

Rumor has it that they're still waiting for Janet to show up with that turkey. If this family wanted to trust the girlfriend to bring such an essential dish to their Thanksgiving festivities maybe they shouldn't have smacked her with a backhanded comment in the same sentence? Especially one that is loaded with so much history of bad feelings as this one seems to be. Who even asks someone to bring a cooked turkey to Thanksgiving anyways? It's almost an unspoken rule that the host will provide it. Especially given how long they take to cook!

The girlfriend is definitely the AH here but she's an AH who is a hero to us all. Hopefully her next boyfriend's family treats her with a little more respect.

Strange Moments Of Internet Weirdness To Ponder

Reality is one of those things that can get us into these weird dead ends where the circumstances leading up to a particular thing make perfect sense, but all we can see it the result. Everyone has had a record scratch moment where they find themselves eating a raw potato in a garbage can while wearing a mop as a wig and thinks "how did I end up here?" Well thanks to the internet there's a way to see absurdly normal photos that document the human experience.

HOA Snitch Demands Couple Take Down Festive Strand of White Christmas Lights, They Replace Them With a Blinding Bomb of Christmas Color

Honestly, has anyone ever heard of a good HOA? Props to this couple for finding a way to comply in style. Nothing better than getting one up on an entitled snitch while still technically complying to the regulations.

Even better to hear that the HOA then attempted to change the regulations to include regulations for indoors. Without first considering the legalities of that... They're incredibly lucky that they had that lawyer guy on hand otherwise they would have found themselves knee deep in lawsuits.

Enjoy another HOA Christmas light post! It won't be the last one! 'Tis the season after all!
