'Kid is about to lose his computer to eBay': Dad threatens to take son's computer after he runs up massive gaming bill

Owning a credit card is a big responsibility, and it definitely shouldn't fall into the hands of a Roblox-obsessed preteen. One dad found that out the hard way, as he shared with the r/mildlyinfuriating Reddit community. At first, he was just sharing a long receipt of micro transactions that his son had made at the App Store. Spend a dollar here and twenty dollars there and it can really add up fast! The kiddo thought he had a gift card to spend, but once the gift card ran out, he was able to keep buying more and more digital items, leaving his dad with a whopping credit card bill

Check out this story below, which goes from mildly infuriating to majorly maddening! Then, check out this tale of one wife who's convinced her husband is cheating just because of an innocent 5-word text.

'Terrible service, never coming back': Cranky Karen refuses to pay mandatory tip, rips up the check

The nerve of this Karen! Not only did she show up half an hour early and express frustration that she and her large group weren't seated immediately, but also she literally snapped at the host and later threw a fit when she wasn't given the check. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/F***YouKaren subreddit by u/Iam_Twitch.

First, let's be clear here: the mandatory 20% tipping policy for groups larger than six people is relatively standard. Secondly, that policy was bolded and in all caps on the menu, so the restaurant is certainly not at fault here. Finally, we're of the opinion that the restaurant should institute a new mandatory 20% tipping policy if you exhibit any kind of Karen behavior like, say, any of the s*** this Karen pulled. Keep scrolling below for the full account of the story. When you're done, here's another tale about an entitled Karen and Kevin screaming at a teenager.

'I didn't get a "Happy Mother's Day" text until 11:25 a.m.': Entitled Mom cancels daughter's furniture order after being 'snubbed' on Mothers' Day

Don't mess with this mom, who's on the warpath after her daughter didn't celebrate Mother's Day in the right way.

Mother's Day is important to many people — it's the day you show your appreciation for everything Mom did for you. Moms raise us and nurture us, so it's lovely to have at least one day a year to show how much she means to you. Lots of people either spend the day with Mom or give her a phone call. However, this Mom wasn't happy with any of the Mother's Day presents she received. Then, she chose to take it out on her own daughter. The post was deleted almost immediately, but we captured the drama and complied the comments below as well.

While there are many parts of this story that are shocking, but perhaps the strangest part is that Mom wanted to be called before 11:25 a.m. Lots of people wake up at 5 or 6 a.m., so maybe this mother had been awake for a while already. But that's still really early to be calling — maybe the daughter thought her mom would want to sleep in! Doesn't matter to this Mom, who just assumed the worst.

Next, these people shared foods they think are so gross that people are only pretending to like them.

For more compilations like this, here are this week's top choosing beggars.

'Quit my job suddenly via email': Worker quits their job because of a bad boss, boss demands they come in and talk face-to-face

Seldom do you quit a job and ever want to go back. It's surprising how the sudden absence of a paycheck removes all desire to set foot there ever again. This is especially true when you quit because of a bad boss or coworker; you would hope never to see them again if you can manage it.

When your boss is verbally abusive, going in for one last "face-to-face" discussion is probably the last thing you should do; the last thing you want to do is give them another chance to get in your face or spin a narrative against you.

That's the advice that this worker received when they recounted their experience at their toxic workplace with their terrible boss. They shared that their boss had slowly become more and more toxic and angry over the course of their time at the company, leading them to look for other work and quit via email once they had found one. Their boss then contacted them, asking them to come into the office. They shared their story on Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit community, asking commenters what they should do regarding their boss's request.

Read on for excerpts of the thread below. Next, check out this boss who tried to have a worker arrested after they left, thinking they had been fired.
