Being forced into a situation where he's expected to take care of and spend money on a baby two levels removed from him, this guy wonders if he's an asshole for totally removing himself with the situation. Some people like kids and go the extra mile to help out other folks, other people don't like kids and are within their rights to not have to deal with ones that just fell into their lives. Sometimes people choose to ask the internet whether or not they're being a jerk in their given situation.

If you're like most people, you're reasonable, relatively calm and somewhat kind. Your first thought when seeing an emergency lane probably isn't "that looks like a great place to park" and when you see a full tip jar you probably don't think "this must be for me." That said, there are moments when some people act selfishly, and the resulting trashy moments are an incredible sight to behold.

This son's TIFU is one for the books. He managed to convince his dad to give AirBnB a shot, instead of just taking the normal hotel route, while on their journey to check out purchasing a new truck. Unfortunately, the worst-case scenario pretty much presented itself when they showed up the neighboring house was in the middle of a massive narcotics bust. Yikes.

Sometimes the language barrier can hurt you more than others. In this case, the guy thought that "gasoleo" would get the job done for him, when he went to fill up his Petrol car. Unfortunately, that actually translated to Diesel, and he found himself in quite the bind, and in need of a mechanic. Fortunately he was able to resolve the issue, and move forward. But you gotta love the fail!

Why are things named what they are anyway? Some scientist or technician threw together a taxonomy a long time ago made up of some greek or latin roots that no one uses anymore? Just about everything can afford to have a nickname. Some of these make more sense than the originals. Saying "make sure the electric hose is plugged in" makes sense to us. Those crazy things like the dentist and sites that require you to enter your credit card information before you can purchase their legitimate products, are actually just around to help you.
