Staff Makes Student Patiently Wait to Report Fire

The hierarchy of school can be strange, especially when there's some miscommunication going on between staff and students. In this case, the staff didn't understand the full scope of what was going on, and had themselves an absurd situation on their hands. Here's a tumblr story of a teacher who underestimated their students in a social experiment, and here are some "that's amazing, but please stop" school stories.

Mind-Bending Japanese Ad Features No CGI

For the love of practical effects and trick-cinematography, here's an ad for Pocari Sweat (a Gatorade-like Japanese sports drink) that has no actual computer generated images but sure-as-hell looks like it does. Yeah, it's an ad, but who cares man. If it takes Pocari Sweat money to make such an interesting and cool thing, then so be it.

A Monkey Playing Pong With Its Mind

What a strange and disorienting time to be alive. Technology and its rapid series of advancements just keeps surprising us. Never thought I'd be watching a monkey named Pager play MindPong with his Neuralink, but here we are.

Weatherman Slams Viewers Complaining About Regular Programming Interruptions

KTVE Meteorologist Jared Floyd had had enough of viewers' bombarding the station with complaints over having their precious programs interrupted by vital information regarding severe weather. Wonder if things just got worse after his rant.

Contractor Dodges Delusional Choosing Beggar

The level of entitlement in this scenario is truly beyond comprehension. We just don't understand how people end up losing touch with reality like this. There's no possible way to reason with anyone approaching a negotiation like this.

McDonald's Worker Apparently Serves Customer Half-Eaten Burger

Please, say it ain't so. This viral video from TikToker @mikky.d0 shows what apparently is a McDonald's employee serving up a half-eaten burger to a customer. People were obviously outraged in the comments, but eventually the TikToker who posted the video surfaced to claim that it was a joke. We'll just sorely hope that's the case.

Dude Abandons Girlfriend On Top Of Mountain To Watch Football

This dude asked the people of Reddit whether or not he was in the wrong for abandoning his girlfriend on top of a mountain, because he had to catch the game. A game we might add that was a Jets game. And he just watched it in the car. Seems like he could've benefited from keeping his cool, being patient, and also recognizing that the big "emotional outburst" was entirely created by him.

Technically Correct Moments That Aren't Totally Wrong

Being actually right is a hard and thankless job. There are not enough hours in the day to burden ourselves with factual correctness, so sometimes we have to settle for technical and literally accurate options to get us through that day. Technically accurate moments let us enjoy the fruits of being not wrong, but with the time saving nature of not having to be totally right.

Guy Teaches A Lesson To Handicap Spot Hog

You see it over and over again, someone parks like a jackass, then finds that someone can be a jackass right back to them. This guy who wasted an illegally parked Karen's time is another good example. People will never learn when it comes to this stuff, which is why people keep having to step in.

Rude Dudes Belittle Sweeper, Sweeper Returns Favor With Bad Directions

These guys brought the unexpected and clearly unwanted journey to a bathroom in a faraway land, on themselves. We're not sure what compels people to talk down to other people that are just trying to get through their jobs. Kudos to the sweeper for having the wherewithal to return the favor to a couple insensitive dudes that needed to use the bathroom. For another glorious tale of malicious compliance check out this story about a boss who denied their employee's request for a PC upgrade, and then the malicious compliance that ensued

Kid Destroys Guitar, Dad Asks Babysitter To Replace It

This dad has some kind of nerve. If you're going to go through the process of hiring someone to look after your kid, you very well might have to grow comfortable with the possibility of accidents occurring while you're away. It's the additional price you can end up paying outside of the babysitter fee. With that being said, this dad somehow expected the hard working babysitter to cover the cost of a guitar that was broken by his kid while he was away.

Funny, Random Tumblr Gems To Smash Boredom

Is there a better waste of time than delving into the weird, wild and stupid things the denizens of tumblr bring to the table? Maybe, but that said is it truly wasting time if you enjoyed doing it? Who knows, these tumblr gems are packed with peculiarity and stupidness. In order to banish the boredom, may tumblr gems lend their endless curiosity to you

Store Manager Doesn't Understand How USB Cables Work

It's tech support tales like the one we have here that really lead us to question how some folks end up in the qualified positions of power that they do. Like, a manager who somehow doesn't understand how USB cables work. How does that even happen? Our hearts go out to the coworkers that had to deal with that whole frustrating situation. For another tech support tale check out the time that Karen spilled water all over some power outlets, and then bothered tech support to fix the impressive fiasco

Weird and Wild Things Kids Did At School

When you get a few hundred to a thousand developing adults into one building and try to get them to follow rules for 7 hours a day, you are setting up a recipe for weirdness. Some kids wanted attention. Other kids (most of us) were trying not to be cringeworthy and failed. Other kids (also most of us) were just bored. We all remember a day at school, trying to get through some drab math exercises when another kid would lean over and say "dude, did you hear about what Jeremy did?" And what an interesting time we'd all have recounting Jeremy's shenanigans. It's not just the kids, sometimes teachers say weird and wild junk too.

Neighbor Claims Someone's Private Property Is Communal Space, Gets Towed

The entitlement is off the charts with this neighbor. What kind of person makes a whole thing out of saying that someone else's clearly marked private property is actually communal space? Clearly, someone who has some severe boundary issues. It sounds like taking the stand and having the lady's car towed was the only way to prevent the situation from getting any worse than it already was. For another ridiculous entitled neighbor scenario, check out this entitled neighbor who expected free high speed internet and then got rejected

Dude Shows Up At Wrong House for Party, Looks Like Weirdo

It's pretty much every grown man's worst fear to look like an absolute creep. Like, in the top ten "things guys shouldn't shouldn't do" at least numbers 4 through 8 are some variation of "make it seem like you're friends with stranger's kids." It goes without saying why that precedent is in place, but there are good reasons for it. This guy had the less than comfortable experience of accidentally talking his way into a random girl's house. Interesting choice from the mom to just let the whole situation play out just to watch him suffer, but alright. Small errors can snowball out of control, like this guy who accidentally ate 420 dollars worth of beef.

Toxic Karen Coworker Gets Rightful Comeuppance

Anyone who goes out of their way to make their coworkers' lives miserable, or just stomps around with an insufferable entitled attitude about them, is just asking for a someone else to take a pro revenge on them. In this case, the pro revenge that is taken on a terribly toxic Karen coworker is nothing short of biblical. The amount of patience exercised in the face of Karen's infuriating antics is nothing short of saintly. For some more Karen drama check out the time that Karen spilled water all over her computer, and then expected a sys admin to be able to fix the mess

Inventive Ways People Would Ruin Dates In 5 Seconds

In case you ever find yourself suffering through a date that you can't find a good reason to be a part of anymore, then these devilishly inventive ways to ruin a date in under five seconds might come in handy. Sometimes, you just need to hit the eject button on a date as soon as possible for your own good. Are there more graceful ways to go about the process than what we have here? Of course, but to each their own.

3D Printer Turned Into Sandwich Making Robot

Why anyone would go through the effort to re-engineer their 3D printer into a sandwich machine is beyond sense, until of course you see this baby in action. Obviously it would be faster, easier, cheaper and probably tastier to just make it by hand or just buy a sandwich, but then you wouldn't get to say you have a sandwich machine. In a sense, it's 3D printing a sandwich. Not actually, but definitely sort of!
