We're all following Coronavirus to some degree, and we're all mostly aware of basic hygiene like washing our hands a lot, coughing into our elbows and not touching our eyes, noses and mouths, but evidently that's harder to do than people think. Here's a Washington Post super cut of various officials touching their faces moments after telling people not to.

This guy was stuck in a crane 375 feet up when Tornadoes struck Nashville. We wouldn't know what to do in that situation and it's very understandable that he begins to freak out.

This level of trashy behavior can be found in all walks of life; be it a boss, customer, landlord or straight up stranger. And seeing someone take advantage of a charitable situation leaves a bad taste in the mouth of anyone who could actually use this kind of help. You can see more of this kind of wild stuff in entitled people making wild demands. A real spicy one is this mom who lashed out at her baby sitter for leaving her bad job.

@TheMERL really hooked it up this time with a hilarious and exciting thread about a brave bat that ended up crashing a rare bookstore. Merlin sounds like quite the intellectually curious fellow, who enjoys the company of some books.

We hope that times are changing and people have a little more global awareness when it comes to travel. That said, there will always be people who think that you can just move a tropical island somewhere else. While that's horribly stupid, it is pretty fun to laugh at. Tourists asks some monumentally stupid questions. Sometimes fliers become a big problem before they even get there.

Wonder if this thread on how to go about making sure an N95 mask will go viral. All in all, Leora Horwitz, has shared a helpful series of tips on how to navigate those N95 masks for people that aren't familiar with the process.

Apparently by trying to erase the long and successful reign of this pharaoh, using her stuff as wall filler and throwing all her junk in a dump, they accidentally ended up preserving it. Pretty neat. Tumblr reviews some wild corners of history, like this thread that actually makes history fun. Here's another archaeology themed Tumblr thread about craftspeople being able to identify things that archaeologists couldn't.

Sometimes strange things happen that just plain old defy people's expectations, and the result is a steady round of applause. These stories might just put a grin on your face, and make you feel better about any moments you've had where you did something silly, and everyone around you proceeded to clap about it. I mean, hey, just take the applause and roll with it.

@Sixthformpoet had a story that went viral on Twitter, and it's no wonder. It has a bit of something for everyone. Definitely still a better love story than Twilight. It's gritty and adorable and outright ridiculous. A solid rollercoaster.

Here are some way-too human moments incredible entitled selfishness, blatant face-palming stupidity, and trashiness, cringeworthy egotistical bragging. These are the people you share the world with. At any time you are free to put a bag over your head and try to stop thinking about how dumb everything is always.

Twitter user melmadara led everyone down memory lane with a powerfully nostalgic thread. Anyone near an elementary school somewhere around the 90s will remember the smelly jerseys, stressful multiplication tables, and fruitlessly attempting to use a recorder. For more, here are some nostalgic memes for the 80s and 90s kids as well as some funny 90s life hacks.

This fun Tumblr thread points out how those mundane and seemingly boring things actually matter too, to historians. Never underestimate yourself, and all that stuff that society might go on saying is boring, and meaningless.

Someone on AskReddit asked for twins to share their experiences with pulling off amazing "switcharoos." It's something else to picture the kinds of shocked and genuinely flabbergasted reactions that these switcharoos must've resulted in. Never underestimate the power of a switcharoo.

Sometimes people are so focused on getting the job done that they fail to realize if they've done a job so wonky that it renders their own work confusing, laughable and useless. These design fails were someone's one job and frankly we're glad they did it bad so we could watch. These design failures need some help.
