The idea behind a community board like Next Door is a noble one, with the goal of fostering a sense of belonging and whatever, but more often than not it just turns into a venue for people to air their fears and grievances. Also a place for old ladies to freak out about cars that drive by once at 3 pm.

Seeing a star in person can have the effect of making you the stupidest person on the planet. Like, what do you say to a movie star if you're awkwardly blocking their way on an airplane? Seeing someone in person that you've seen in a movie, even someone you may not even particularly like, creates a scenario that most people just don't know how to deal with.

Nothing like a good old-fashioned petty revenge by an employee who was simply waiting for the opportune time to take it. In this case, it sounds like "Jill" was a bit of a nightmare to work with, when it came to her refusing to be a team player, and switch shifts. Sometimes emergencies come up, and if you refuse to help out other teammates in need by switching a shift, you better be ready for them to throw it right back in your face. Thus, we have Jill and her ultimate downfall. Oh boy, did Jill get those just deserts.

The bad part about making a product or sign is that if you obviously screw up, a whole bunch of people are gonna see it and get to laugh at your mistake. If you've got an established reputation as being a "legendary whiner" amongst the customer service/support department, it's probably best to put a lid on it for future complaints. We're having a hard time grasping the fact that people like this actually exist. The bridezilla in this particularly pleasant scenario asked the people of Reddit whether or not she was in the wrong for asking her bridesmaid to die her hair/wear a wig to fit in with the wedding's color scheme.
