Like Pixar movies and Harry Potter, the denizens of Tumblr have always had a strong knowledge of young adult dystopian fiction. For a while there it was like every new book for tweens was about a teenager in a messed up hierarchy forced to play games of death. There's nothing exactly wrong with that. It's just that like anything else, people's favorite books of their early teen years have become a coldly optimized version of themselves, designed to take advantage of a cultivated interest. Tumblr has a habit of noticing things, like when Tumblr broke down the nine types of movie posters.
There are a surprising number of people out there that decide to take revenge on inconsiderate, downright belligerent drivers with indestructible mailboxes. In this case though, we have a construction crew boss who hit his breaking point when it came to the amount of nonsense and criminal behavior that he'd put up with from some vandals. Suffice to say, the revenge was swift and critically effective.
Humans' capacity for enacting cunning and truly brutal revenges on one another is both impressive and vaguely terrifying. If anything it's revenge stories like the ones we have here that should serve as a solid reminder to treat other folks nicely. The last thing you'd want is to find yourself on the receiving end of one of these revenges because you wouldn't play nice with someone.
