'We all owe our lives to Sarah Michelle Gellar': Man refuses to miss the finale of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' during a tornado, ends up saving his entire family from being buried alive

Everyone has that one TV show that is their kryptonite and takes the front seat over all other life responsibilities. You couldn't survive without it! There's no way that you'd miss a single second of that show, you fangirl over all the extras, and you'd sooner pass away than miss the season finale– literally. Well, back in 2003, when missing the live season finale meant that you might just never see it, show fandom required some serious commitment. It's not like you could just tune into your fave streaming service and watch the episode the next day, you had to pledge your time to the network.

One man named Joe, a super-fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, was presented with a predicament when his favorite show was airing their season finale in the midst of an enormous tornado warning in his hometown. Even when sirens were going off and panic was striking his family and neighbors, this man kept a clear head and focused on his #1 priority: Buffy and Angel in the season finale.

Terror-stricken, his wife loaded up herself and the kids in the storm cellar, but Joe decided to stay behind to watch the episode.

"Screw it, I'm watching Buffy"

After hours of a riotous storm and an even more epic season finale, Joe went to go search for his family and heard screams from the underground bunker. A giant oak tree had fallen on top of the storm shelter and trapped his family inside. Luckily, Joe was on the outside and was able to go get help to free his family. If it weren't for Buffy, he would have been trapped in the cellar as well and they all would have been buried alive.

I guess you could argue that Buffy the Vampire Slayer saved all of their lives that day. She really is the hero and savior of the whole world, huh? Plus, the real Sarah Michelle Gellar even reposted this video memoir on her own IG, which is pretty epic for good ol' super-fan Joe. AITA: ‘I want a separate bedroom’ : Couple pays 50/50 rent, entitled boyfriend demands all spare rooms to himself, girlfriend claims 'it's not fair' and asks for separate bedroom

Moving in together with your significant other is as charming as it is stressful. This is the time you truly get to know them. Sharing a living space with anyone can be emotionally draining, and it's normal to want some space for yourself. One woman took to Reddit, sharing the news of her moving in with her boyfriend. They were going to rent a three-bedroom house and had two spare rooms that they were figuring out what to do with.

The entitled boyfriend thought it was totally legitimate to demand that one be his office, and another, a gym. OP thought it didn't make sense that both rooms would serve him, as they were paying 50/50, and she'd always wanted a bedroom for herself, as she'd been riddled with roommates and never had her own space. Scroll down to read what she, and other Redditors, had to say.

'Please help me': Server saves woman from horrendous first date, dude bails, woman returns to enjoy the rest of her meal

Folks, for once, we've got a wholesome tale from your server! This thread was posted by u/Rave-light, who recounted how they were working a shift and noticed a young woman who seemed uncomfortable on a bad first date. The server overheard the dude dismiss her favorite TV show as a "show for women" (the show was Fleabag so you know she had good taste and the guy was straight up in the wrong). When the guy left to go to the bathroom, the woman pulled the server aside and asked for help to get out of this.

And oh, did the server help! She went to the back and called the woman, pretending to be a friend in crisis. The woman left and after a little while, the guy bailed too. After some time passed, the woman called the server back to see if the coast was clear. It was, so she came back into the restaurant and was able to enjoy the rest of her pasta in peace.

'Instantly she starts sprinting to the front desk': Yoga Karen gets diabolical, steals woman's spot in class

There's nothing like a competitive yoga class to bring the Karens out! As someone who is not well-acquainted with the world of getting spots in competitive fitness classes, I was truly shocked by this lady's behavior in the elevator. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/hansolox1, who was running a little late to class and found herself in the elevator with Yoga Karen.

Apparently, this studio has a policy that if you don't check in 5 minutes before class, your seat is then up for grabs and you are considered a "no-show." So what did Yoga Karen do? Well, since she didn't have a reservation herself, she purposely stalled the Redditor by pressing the wrong buttons "accidentally" so that the Redditor would miss the 5-minute check-in deadline. Once the elevator arrived at the correct floor, Yoga Karen sprinted to the front desk and grabbed the now-free spot. This is truly diabolical behavior that deserves to be reprimanded. We expect the Redditor to get some much-needed revenge soon! For more stories like this, here's one about a fast-food Karen!

20 Deleted-tweet disasters by people hiding embarrassing mistakes and hot takes

Tweets become at least ten times funnier the moment we can see that the author deleted it! It immediately makes you wonder why they chose to remove the tweet. Were they embarrassed, or did they get something totally wrong?

Below are a bunch of Twitter users who tweeted and deleted. It's especially satisfying to see the ones that are deleted within a minute — but the internet never forgets!

Update: 'Get off my property now': Entitled Mom breaks into neighbor's backyard to use the pool, gets kicked out, kid destroys neighbor's home with fireworks

This one is full of twists and turns that give entitled mothers a whole new look. These series of updates were compiled and shared via this thread on Reddit's r/BestofRedditorUpdates, and let's just say that what follows is a SAGA.

It all started when this entitled Mom broke into the Original Poster's backyard so that her kids could swim in her pool. After a heated back-and-forth with OP where OP threatened to call the police if she didn't leave, before anyone saw it comes, the entitled Mom's kids were caught urinating in OP's pool. You would think that would be the craziest part of the story, but you would be wrong.

Next, there was the reckless driving and the warning she received from the police. And then, there's the fireworks show gone wrong, which ended in flames. Literally. Keep scrolling below for this epic story. When you're finished, here is a collection of the top entitled folks of the week.
