'Who Put You In Charge?': 33 Dreadfully Dumb Design Fails That Probably Got Someone Fired

"You're in charge," they said. "It'll be fun," they said. Yet somehow, it resulted in this embarrassing mess — who the heck authorized it? Who can we blame? There is always someone at fault. Alas, people make mistakes — some of them are just worse than others. Sure, if we held a contest, there would certainly be winners (who would actually be losers). 'But aren't we all just doing our best? Who are you to judge someone else's mistakes?'

Lol, if that's what's going on in your brain right now, you've clicked on the wrong post, my friend, because we're here to juddddddgggeeeee! These people had one job. Plus, to be fair - some of these design fails caused a lot of inconvenience for a lot of people. So yeah, I'm here to tell you - some very stupid people work at very important jobs. That's nothing new. And below, you'll find some of the best examples of that. So feel free to scroll down and laugh at these gobsmackingly stupid fails that made me question the future of humanity.

'The last time I parked there, the lady [...] looked LIVID': Woman gets petty revenge on entitled neighbors by parking in their spot

This Karen neighbor does not own a public parking spot! Her comeuppance was chronicled in this thread on Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit by u/lebrunjemz, who explained how a small parking mistake resulted in a burning desire for vengeance.

This woman usually parks her car in her boyfriend's driveway but needed to park elsewhere one day. She parked in a totally public spot outside of a neighbor's house, but that turned out to be the entitled neighbor's usual spot. Rather than have a civil conversation, the neighbor noticed that the Redditor's car was a mere 6 inches in front of a parking sign and decided to call the cops and have her ticketed. Not only was that move so petty and passive-aggressive, but it's not like this lady owned the spot! So naturally, the Redditor decided to use that fact to her advantage moving forward. Keep scrolling below to see what she did and how people in the comments responded.

Reddit users share what movies and TV shows are REALLY messing up

Movies and television can be the perfect escape from reality. Turn on your favorite streaming service and suddenly you have hundreds of choices right at your fingertips. But sometimes that awesome show or movie might be a bit distracting when it's inaccurate.

Redditors on r/AskReddit shared their personal pet peeves in movies, big and small. For some, just the details are distracting. I agree with one user who noted that they do not like when characters leave behind a hot breakfast that someone else made for them before ever taking a bite! Other Reddit users took issue with bigger flaws. For example, when characters are able to crawl around the sewers and pop out of a manhole (which is pretty difficult IRL, since those are really heavy!) These are the things that very much irritate Redditors, from the smallest details to major flaws in the show or movie.

'She's threatened to break up with me': Guy refuses to take girlfriend's name off lease after she moves in with her ailing grandmother

What's that I smell? Oh right. It's the end of this relationship. This couple shared an apartment together until the girlfriend's grandmother got very sick and she decided to move in with her to be her caregiver. Her boyfriend refused to live with another roommate and therefore wouldn't take his girlfriend's name off the lease or let her stop paying her half of the rent.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/nsdi-982, who tried his best to sound like the victim in this scenario when clearly he is not. He makes it sound like moving in with the grandmother rent-free is an easy and luxurious decision. No, sir. She's going to be taking care of someone while her health worsens. And while we sympathize with the fact that the two of them signed a lease with the intent of living there for the rest of the year, if he can't afford the full rent and refuses to live with a roommate, that is clearly his problem. Keep scrolling below to see what people had to say.
